Confesso nao saber, pois em geral eu acabao nao curtindo muito esses jogos q, IMHO, tem a pegada do Terraforming Mars.

Entao nao vi muito. Suspeito que no link do gamefound deve cobrir qq diferenca. Pelo sim pelo nao peguei no gemini o resumo das mudancas, e o TLDR, parece ser que e basicamente estetico.

Ark Nova has been released. The publisher did, however, introduce two small rule changes that are included in all recent printings and were added to the digital version.

The Gamefound campaign for Ark Nova: 3Dition is a separate project offering deluxe components, not a new edition of the game.

Rule changes in recent printings

  • Final scoring method: To simplify the game’s end, the scoring process was changed from a subtraction-based method to a strictly additive one.

    • The original method could result in negative final scores, which some players found confusing. The new version adds 100 points to the total to ensure all scores are positive.

    • For example, in the new scoring, if a player’s Appeal and Conservation tracks cross, the game ends with a score of exactly 100 points. For owners of older editions, this can be replicated by adding 100 points to the final score.

  • Solo game sponsor card adjustment: The requirement on sponsor cards with a “maximum of 25 appeal” was modified for solo play, where players may start with 10 or 20 appeal. The new rules adjust this threshold to 35 or 45 appeal, ensuring the cards remain useful in the early game as intended.

    Clarification on Ark Nova: 3Dition

    The 3Dition project on Gamefound is not a 3rd edition of the core game, but a component upgrade for owners of the original base game. It features aesthetic improvements, not a revised rule set, and includes:

    • 3D versions of buildings, enclosures, fences, and kiosks

    • Acrylic tiles

    • Deluxe player boards

    • Metal coins

    • Storage boxes for the components
